Topics include slavery, politics, farming, and the health of family and friends. There is also a brief mention of John Hopkins Hospital as well as World War I. There are a few items from other families including Frye, Zirkle, Geary, Rupp, and Harlow. They may have been friends or relatives of the Luke family.
